SERVICE LEARNING
Enhancing personal development through community involvement
Service Learning is a way to help the youth develop empathy and teach them the value of caring and serving the community around them.
It is a powerful platform where the youth is taught to look beyond themselves and to discover the needs of others, many who are less fortunate or facing different difficulties in life. Service Learning is a programme that helps build a generation of youth that would eventually become concerned citizens who are active in contributing to the society.
Here are the topics covered for a Service Learning project:
Multiple intelligence
Time Management
Impulse Control
Appreciating Diversity
Understanding Community Needs
Building Team Dynamics
Conflict Management
Organisation Skills
