Four Developmental Domains
Developmental domains refer to the different areas of an individual’s life we would consider when we think about their progression.
Spirituality / Body/Heart /Mind
To find out what are these domains are about and what we are doing to develop these areas..
To successfully reintegrate a all and any back into society, it takes more than self. It will take the family, the teachers or employers, friends from the neighborhood and friends from interest groups. Our staff will link up with advocacy partners for all and any to ensure the smooth transition from the institution back to society ,community and family.
Community determines the interaction between each member and ultimately affects each member of the community with these interaction. The influence can be very strong given the nature of each interaction and the frequency. We have to work with the community to ensure that the message portrayed to all and any is supportive of any rehabilitation and consistent across.
Constructive engagement refers to the most meaningful way of spending time. So it’s about them having purposeful communities, pro-social communities where they are able to work and have purpose and meaning in their lives. It could be even them going back to school and focus on their academics so they they are able to work towards their dreams.
We realize that offences are committed when the mind is idle or does not have a greater purpose for life. Hence, we aim to give them a new goals or purpose for creation, occupying them so that their time will be well spent.
It involves a relationship between either the personal guides & life coaches with the resident. We want to create an environment that is non threatening. So that they can have a relationship where they can coach the resident by building up their character and restore them from their past hurts and barrier experiences.
The trend in this profile of all and any is that they have experienced hurt from their past relationships. It could be through betrayal from their friends, injustice from authority figures or lack of love from their family. However, deep down inside, all and any are still looking for a genuine relationship and sometimes they yearn for a mentor or just someone who they can trust and depend on. We acknowledge that yearning and we want to amend their view on relationships through Unity Restorative Coaching.
